Short Film City 2009, 10th – 14th November

Short Film City Returns
Launched in November 2008 as part of Leeds International Film Festival, Short Film City is a brand new event celebrating the unseen gems of world cinema on the biggest stages. Opening in the spectacular setting of Leeds Town Hall, the first Short Film City presented 25 programmes of outstanding new work and closed with the Awards Gala where the National and International Juries presented the winning films (click here for full details). Short Film City returns in November 2009 to bring the best of the year’s most original international filmmaking to the sites of Leeds.

Important note regarding film submissions!
Submissions for Leeds International Film Festival and Short Film City are now processed through Withoutabox, and we are accepting submissions NOW - the deadline for entries will be 21st August.

23rd Leeds International Film Festival
Short Film City is part of Leeds International Film Festival which returns from 4th to 15th November 2009 and also features the Official Selection, Cinema Versa, Fanomenon, Thought Bubble, and KiNETIKA! Full details of the Film Festival are available on www.leedsfilm.com.
